What You Will Do:
Responsible for maintaining all equipment related to manufacturing according to annual maintenance schedule.
Responsible for all lubricating oils and cutting fluids needed by machine tools (daily, weekly monthly).

What You Will Do
Test the functionality of components, parts, assemblies, and systems to support production quality, product development, engineering, failure analysis and warranty returns.
Perform visual inspections of intricate parts and assemblies under microscope and other equipment.
Work closely with engineers to ensure testing procedures are accurately performed.
Configure testing equipment hardware and initiate automated test scripts using a computer interface.
Analyze test results, create test reports, and archive the test record on computer.
Interpret the unit test results, disposition unit quality (pass/fail), prepare information needed to perform repairs, and route parts to next process step.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
* Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.
* Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
* Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
* Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines.
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge

Qualifications:
* 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
* ASE certifications required.
* Mechanic’s Tool Set

Salary Range: $60,800.00 - $101,400.00Salary Range 2: $72,200.00 - $120,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

**Basic Qualifications:**
**Level 3:**
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience working in a manufacturing industry, maintenance, and/or construction environment.

**Required for both levels:**
+ Experience working in one or more of the maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, machine controls, and/or electrical

Salary Range: $60,800.00 - $101,400.00Salary Range 2: $72,200.00 - $120,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. **Responsibilities for this internship position are:**
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman – Military Internship Program (DoD SKillbridge) utilizing the DoDI guidance for Skillbridge. During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program.
**Goals** – Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC.
**Objectives** - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission “Defining Possible” on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.

Northrop Grumman is seeking a **Facilities Technician/HVAC Level 3 or 4** to support our Launch Vehicles Facilities Team at our Chandler, Arizona location. This hands-on position requires knowledge and experience in repairs and maintenance of facilities and/or machines and equipment.
Due to the hands-on nature of the role, this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Please note – relocation is not available.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment (AHU's, Chillers, Cooling Towers, VAV's and Heaters).
+ Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, machine controls, electrical and HVAC
+ Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
+ Uses hand and power tools
+ Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
+ Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
+ Knowledgeable in water conditioning and chemical balancing.
+ Able to lift over 50lbs.
+ Order parts, equipment, etc.
