Our North American engineering team is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Developer who will be responsible for the design, construction, integration, testing, verification and maintenance of the Nuvei software products. Main Duties / Responsibilities

+ Develop and provide support for features in an existing system based on the Microsoft stack while striving to improve performance and availability

+ Work with fellow developers and database administrators to design, implement and maintain working programs and new, innovative software solutions

Functional Proficiencies

+ 4+ years’ practical experience in a development environment with Microsoft Technology.

+ Good understanding of modern software architecture (N-tier , Clean Architecture)

**The Main Responsibilities**

+ Develops/defines plans for the implementation of new plant construction or modifications to existing facilities. Prepares plans and specifications, to include gathering field data.

+ Assures that the most feasible, practical and economical means to complete the work are utilized. Provides cost data to support capital planning and budgeting.

+ Monitors and controls project expenditures.

+ Oversees the installation/construction and testing of plant facilities.

**Where You Will Work**

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

+ Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

+ Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

+ Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

+ Troubleshoot, and analyze production job failures related to data, network file delivery, and server and application issues independently and provide solutions to recovery. Participate in root cause analysis and preventative actions to avoid recurring incidents

+ Participate in the buildout of automation to prevent problem recurrence; with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions

+ Apply technology background in software engineering and systems engineering to ensure the applications on-boarded to SRE are available, have full-stack observability, are integrated with CI/CD, and always-on by introducing continuous improvement through code and automation, continuous testing (performance, functional), and provide operational insight through analytics

+ Assess the availability of critical business flows, identify service level objectives and indicators, and conduct destructive and resiliency testing to reach 99.995% availability for the firm's critical products and services leading to improved customer experience and customer satisfaction

+ Introduce enterprise capabilities, tools, and innovation to improve availability in a multi-cloud ecosystem by evolving observability, monitoring, logging, CI/CD integration, continuous testing (performance, functional), continuous improvement, and standardization/automation of key SRE metrics and IT Service Operations processes

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of software development experience with languages such as Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, JSON, Angular, NodeJS

+ 5+ years of site reliability engineering experience (SRE)

+ 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and systems administration experience across multiple OS Platforms: Solaris/Unix/AIX/Linux, PKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Windows, VMware

+ 5+ years of experience with web platforms: Java, .NET, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere

+ 5+ years of experience with database technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Mongo DB, Oracle

+ 5+ years of experience with Observability tools: AppDynamics, Sitescope, Thousand eyes, etc.

+ 5+ years of experience using logging/monitoring tools: Elastic, Splunk, Netcool, Kafka, etc.

+ 3+ years of Command Center (Mission Control) experience

+ 3+ years of Ansible/Bash/Shell/Terraform automation scripting experience
