+ **Collaboration** : Work closely with product owners, process engineers, and site quality operational teams to ensure software processes are aligned with overall business objectives and operational requirements.

+ Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of work experience in Quality or regulated industry OR Advanced degree with 5+ years of work experience in Quality or regulated industry
**Nice to Have**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in software process assurance or quality engineering, with a focus on process testing, automation, and validation.
+ Exposure to Vision Engineering
+ Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and System Development practices.
+ Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing processes to enhance software quality.
+ Strong expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
+ Experience in process automation and software process optimization within manufacturing or industrial environments.
+ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools for process integration.
+ Familiarity with machine vision or image processing systems as part of automation and automated visual inspection.
+ Knowledge of machine learning or AI-based process optimization in automation and automated visual inspection systems.
+ Experience with process monitoring tools and methodologies that support continuous feedback and improvement in software development and deployment.
+ Certifications in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) or quality management systems.
+ Familiarity with highly regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
